Designing spa and wellness centres is all about stimulating the senses. Material textures, colour combinations, scents, acoustics as well as lighting must thus be specific to the given space according to its function within the spa. Having designed for major players on the island within this sector, it was important to consider the particular philosophy of each brand in terms of exclusivity, anticipated type of visitors and duration of their visit. Further to this, we were the first to introduce the Hammam to Malta, first through the Kempinski project, followed by Intercontinental and Myoka.
